The Tress, Plants

And

Vegetation

Reasons For Teaching Herbal Medicine

1.     For you to know why all these trees, plants and vegetation are lasting. A tree or vegetation may appear dry and dead. But during the rainy season, you see them regrow themselves. You may cut off a leave, and afterwards it regrows to its full size and length. And the leaves shall be green in colour, small in size and not long.

2.     The trees, plants and vegetation are usually green in colour, because of the manure. Anywhere you put manure, the rain and flood will make the manure to go inside the ground.

3.     When you cultivate the ground, you notice that various parts of the soil have different colours. The various colours show that the nutrients in the various types of soil are also different. All soils are not the same. There is a type of sands for building houses, another type for cultivating plants and yet another type for other purposes.

Fruit-Bearing Plants

All the plants that bear fruits, the same fruit is all in the parts of the body. The only thing is that the plant produces the fruits in a particular part. That is why a tree can produce a branch and from the branch bear fruits.

Why Plants Grow Upward

The reasons why God made the plants to grow upward are the following?

1.     The sprout, shrub, leaves or the upper parts tells you when the plants need water and manure.

2.     The colour of the leaves change depending on what is needed. The plants or leaves become pale, or it may not grow as it should. That change is a sign that something is lacking inside the soil. The colour of the leaves may become pale or faded. Or, the plant may not grow as it should have. The change in colour is a sign to humanity that something is lacking inside the soil.

From Stem To Wood

The stem of the plants are usually wood. The wood prevents the loss of much water from their bodies. And the nature of the woods make the trees, plants and shrubs strong enough to carry their own weight, stand and remain upright.

If you were to cut down all the trees, where shall you keep the woods?

There shall be no space enough to contain the increasing quantity of woods, from year to year. Therefore, God made the stems to be firewoods, for themselves to be useful to humanity. Also, the woods become available for making other useful things, like furniture, building houses, etc. The ones that decay over many years become manure to the soils, to replenish the earth.

Roots

The roots of a plant move straight into the soil. They spread and go deeper into the soil. The plants do so in order to have more sources of getting nutrients and water – they increase their surface areas and connections. You would observe that the person with seven children is usually more hardworking than the person with one child only. He strives to provide foods for all the children, to avoid problems. But the person with one child easily get enough for himself and the one child. He has more time to rest and relax, because he has less responsibility. The plants spread their roots inside the ground and do deeper, to get nutrients, water and air.

Usually, when a crop is planted, the roots start seeking for the ground, and grows deeper and deeper. The root knows that is where the nutrients are, and that it is its work to get the nutrients, water and air into the crops.

Another reason why the roots grow deeper and deeper, is that when manure is poured on the ground, the rain and flood carries the manure inside the ground, deeper and deeper into the soil, to deposit and store the manure deep down. That is why the roots go deeper into the soils to get the manures.

When you plant a crop, like mango, there, it will be feeding on the manure. You notice that the crops whose roots do not go deep into the soil, their leaves become faded, weak or different. Therefore, the crops with deep roots, are able to get enough nutrients, while the crops with shallow roots cannot.

A third reason why the roots go deep and spread inside the soil is for the plants to stand firm, not to be easily moved or washed away by the rain, flood and wind.
